Setpoint Systems Corporation is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team in Colorado.
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a wholesale parts sales & marketing plan, focused on driving increased sales growth and customer acquisition across our geographic territories. Collaborating closely with the outside sales group to proactively manage customer accounts, this is a great opportunity to earn excellent compensation. You will report directly to the Vice President, Business Development, for training and mentoring.
Driving customer awareness of product promotions
Placing outbound calls and receiving customer calls
Contact manufacturers/vendors for lead times, special requirements, and current pricing
Creating and providing parts quotations/proposals to customers
Entering Customer Orders and providing products submittals
Providing minor technical assistance to external customers
Addressing customer inquiries
Working closely and interacting effectively with multiple internal departments such as: Outside Sales, Service Dispatch, Operations and Warranty, Purchasing, Warehousing and Delivery, Accounts Receivable/Payable, etc
Assisting outside sales for requests for customer needs as required
Industry knowledge and consultative sales and negotiation skills
Negotiating pricing with customers
Process invoices for billing
Following up with customers verbally or in writing to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain knowledge of existing products and new product lines
Coordinating vendor presentations and training
Coordinating, marketing, and executing industry trade shows
Desired Qualifications include
BA or BS in Marketing, Business, and/or Engineering required
2+ years experience in sales required
Experience in HVAC and/or DDC product wholesale industry
Prior HVAC and/or DDC customer service, inside sales, or outside sales experience required strongly preferred
Working knowledge of DDC, electric and pneumatic control systems and building construction
Experience in developing and executing industry trade-show booths a plus
Analytical and organizational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Base + Commission
Extensive product training will be provided and required.
